Ellensburg – Gallery One, in partnership with Ellensburg Arts Commission, is delighted to announce that PechaKucha is returning to Ellensburg on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

This year, we will be exploring the theme of “Breaking Through the Soil”, from the perspective of 8 participants, including:

Renee Fyall
Madison Ford
Angela Soffe
Hillary Jensen
Brandon Ambrose .

The PechaKucha 20×20 presentation format is a slide show of 20 images, each auto-advancing after 20 seconds. It’s non-stop and you’ve got 400 seconds to tell your story, with visuals guiding the way. PechaKucha was created in Japan in 2003 by renowned architects, Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham. The word “PechaKucha” is Japanese for “chit chat.”

This special storytelling event is on May 21st, from 6pm to 9pm at Gallery One. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear real stories from our diverse community!

This is a free event.
